Hey, it’s Laurin and Eujenne! 👋😀

Building our own tiny house was our solution to live in an affordable but beautiful (tiny) home while creating our own financial freedom to give us the time to work on what we love (tiny homes)!

So we founded Tiny Easy and made it our mission to help you go tiny! We spent countless hours designing stunning, affordable, and easy-to-build tiny homes you can even take on as an enjoyable DIY project.

One of these tiny homes is thePetite Maison; the perfect tiny house for a small family if you are looking for your first home, or want to downsize from your regular home that’s eating up your time and money. Its smooth indoor-outdoor flow transforms your Petite Maison into an airy, open home in the summer, while the purposefully designed interior spaces create a cosy ambience during those cold rainy days.

We designed two versions of the Petite Maison, one optimized to the Imperial standards and another to the Metric (Framing, lighting, and plumbing are only available in Metric). They look almost identical but are designed with the specific restrictions of each system in mind! We included the plans of both versions in this package, so you can build the Petite Maison no matter what system you’re using.

When we built our own tiny house, we saw how much planning and learning it takes to organize your tiny house build, so we have included a BUNCH of Guides, Helpers and Interactive Spreadsheets to help you organize your build. 😀

The Petite Maison is pre-loaded as a preset design in the software and you can customize it to your liking e.g. change the size, roof shape, interior layout or materials and much more. FYI: The 3D Tiny House Designer software is sold separately. More information is in the plan package. 😄

If you have a small family, you’ll want a house that will give you the option to spend time together, while also having the space to have your “own time”, away from the hustle and bustle to kick up your feet and relax.

The Petite Maison has exactly that!

Let’s start with the exterior. When coming up the Petite Maison for the first time, you’ll be amazed by the clean, minimalist exterior design. A gun-metal grey standing seam cladding wraps the Petite Maison into an elegant, architectural envelope while the timber accents on the short sides catch your eyes.

We've kept the interior clean and intentional; the forest inspired material palette of walnut cabinetry and flooring, stone style tops and concrete style flooring in the bathroom create a grounded and “homey” atmosphere. The Petite Maison draws natural light from the generous folding doors. During the summer, the interior transforms into a one-of-a-kind indoor-outdoor living experience when you open up the doors!

This kitchen is equipped with everything you need; generous bench space for food prep on the stylish island that doubles as your dining table, a full-sized oven, a four plate cooktop, a full-sized fridge & freezer and a full-sized sink! This kitchen makes it easy to prepare a tasty dinner, while your family accompanies you at the generous kitchen island. You’ll find all the storage you need in the deep cabinetry under the island and the large pull-out pantry next to the cooktop.

This comfortable lounge is ready to relax in! We designed a cozy reading nook featuring a storage loaded bench-seat next to a tiny wood-burner. Grab your favourite book and settle in this cozy space with a hot mug of coffee (or tea).

The Petite Maison is a family tiny house, and kids need space to play! That’s why the lounge area is made to get all their favourite toys out and enjoy a creative session on the Legos! When they’re done, the storage bench seat quickly hides the mess…

When you want some extra seating, just get out a couple of beanbags and the space transform into a comfortable area for conversations!

This bathroom will make you forget that you’re in a tiny house! When you have a small family, you want to keep your options open. You’ll want a space to brush your teeth, get ready, wash dirty clothes or get your kid into a bath! That’s right, we fit a full-sized bathtub into the Petite Maison; perfect for all you bathtub lovers!

The stylish vanity gives you plenty of space to store your favourite products, while the modern LED mirror gives you a place to get ready. Next to the vanity, you’ll find a laundry cabinet, hiding your washing machine.

The fixed compost toilet finishes up this space-efficient bathroom. If you want some extra privacy, you can either close the roll-down blinds or opt for a frosted window instead!

Cozy up in the generous master bedroom right above the kitchen! We understand that you want to walk to your loft, so we have designed a full, standing height walkway that leads all the way to the master bedroom!

The master bedroom fits a queen size bed, and a stylish in-built wardrobe & entertainment cabinet! 

The spacious kid’s room is on the other end of the tiny house, perfect to give you some spatial and noise separation from you and your child. In a tiny house, it’s so important to have privacy when you need it.

The cute kid’s bedroom has all the space your kid needs for toys, and clothes in the generous wardrobe next to the single bed. If you have a younger child, the bed can be replaced with a crib!
